NEWS AND EVENTS
Curnock Street TRA has collected 235 signatures for the perimeter fence project and we have now also secured the councillors support.
Never have a BBQ in a small or enclosed space like a balcony/patio, barbecues can easily cause fires and could cause carbon monoxide to build up in you or your neighbours’ flats – carbon monoxide is an odourless gas that can kill in minutes.
Today we have been informed from one of the caretakers supervisors (Paul Sachdev – Caretaker Manager) that Veolia has stopped cleaning the communal areas inside th estate. This responsibility will now be part of the two caretakers who are allocated to our estate.
Only go outside for food, health reasons or work (but only if you cannot work from home). If you go out, stay 2 metres (6ft) away from other people at all times. Wash your hands as soon as you get home. Do not meet others, even friends or family. You can spread the virus even if you don’t have symptoms.
What to do if you have symptoms: Please stay at home for 7 days and do not come into the surgery if you have either: a) a high temperature, b) a new continuous cough. This will help to protect others in your community while you are infections. Do not go to a GP surgery, a pharmacy or hospital.
To keep council’s staff and residents safe and to avoid the spread of Covid-19 (coronavirus), from Monday 16th March 2020 council will continue to carry out all communal and external works to our stock as normal, but they will only be carrying out essential repairs inside tenants’ homes.
