Today we have been informed from one of the caretakers supervisors (Paul Sachdev – Caretaker Manager) that Veolia has stopped cleaning the communal areas inside th estate. This responsibility will now be part of the two caretakers who are allocated to our estate.
On top of their current heavy schedule they will have to clean the communal areas and clean some small graffitti. Unfortunately some of the equiptment, that council has ordered, has not arrived yet and that makes the situation more difficult.
Paul also mentioned that during the pandemic the caretakers had to work until 14:00 instead of 16:00 (shorter hours) but the service is slowly coming back to normal. Another difficulty is the number of holidays that have not been used by the caretakers because of the pandemic which means that the caretakers needs to take those dates before August.
